Vi Beautify Studio Expands Team to Meet Growing Demand

Nanaimo, BC – As wedding bookings continue to grow across Vancouver Island, Vi Beautify Studio is expanding its team to ensure every client continues to receive the personalized, luxury experience the studio has become known for.

Owner and Lead Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist Ashley Porter has continued to grow her business while investing in the next generation of beauty professionals.

Ashley has welcomed Lynn Burke to the team, an exciting milestone that reflects the business's continued growth and success. Rather than simply increasing capacity, Ashley is investing in mentorship, providing comprehensive, hands-on training that prepares new artists to deliver the same exceptional level of service that clients expect.

Every member of the Vi Beautify Studio team completes extensive mentorship, shadowing, mock wedding training, and ongoing education before working independently with bridal clients. This approach allows the studio to maintain its high standards while accommodating larger bridal parties and increasing demand throughout Vancouver Island.

Lynn is currently working alongside Ashley, assisting with wedding day timelines, hair preparation, touch-ups, client support, and select hair and makeup services. Through Ashley's mentorship, she continues to build her skills and confidence and is scheduled to attend advanced makeup training in Seattle later this year as part of her professional development.

"Growing our team has always been about protecting the client experience," says Ashley. "Every bride deserves to feel relaxed, cared for, and confident on one of the most important days of her life. By mentoring our artists personally, I know we can continue delivering the same level of care and artistry that our clients trust."

The expanded team allows Vi Beautify Studio to provide more efficient timelines, reduce wait times for bridal parties, and create a calm, organized atmosphere on wedding mornings. It also positions the Nanaimo-based business to serve more weddings across Vancouver Island without compromising the personalized experience that has become its signature.

For Ashley, the investment in mentorship is about more than business growth. It is about building a team that shares her passion for helping brides look and feel their best while creating lasting memories throughout the wedding journey.

With support from NEDC, Vi Beautify Studio is not only continuing to grow, but also creating meaningful opportunities through mentorship, skills development, and employment in the beauty industry.

As demand continues to rise, Vi Beautify Studio's thoughtful approach to growth ensures every client receives the elevated experience that has earned the studio its outstanding reputation.
