Canadian Emergency Response Benefit

The Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) is an EI alternative for those who are no longer working after March 15th due to the COVID virus. It provides successful applicants $500 per week for up to 16 weeks. There have been a high volume of applications reported & some reports of people waiting weeks to get the benefit. Canada Emergency Business Account ($40,000 loan, up to $10,000 forgivable)

The Canada Emergency Business Account was announced by the Government of Canada to support small and medium sized businesses in these challenging times. It is a simple application process and only takes about 5-10 minutes once you have all the required information together.
